"Imaginary Rejection
Mr. Raphael--
I put each word from your first poem on a separate index card & had my 3 year old scatter
them around; I'll be publishing the poem under her name.

The second poem had 13 'the's, which is

even too many for a page in a Russian novel.

Otherwise your poetry is like window-shopping

on an alien planet, where I have no idea

what most of the things are, but a couple

made me gasp"
  --Dan Raphael
      "Where white Astarte strays

And Echo and the silver-footed fays

Make alien music, fugitive and wild."
