Melanie took a survey among her friends, of
"...movies that could (or should) be turned into stage
musicals, as per such recent Broadway successes as
The Producers and Hairspray", & here are the results:
   "There were no runaway
votegetters, but there were a few titles that popped
up more than two times, such as, incredibly, both The
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
and The Silence of the Lambs,
as well as the more traditional Steel Magnolias.
