   "Concept Car"

When dragons die, they take their leave of Earth
without fuss, to partner the invisible
starving in the midst of christmas music
like vapor trails, that fester in the sky
    when dragons die

we've made our peace with merciless the process
and seek oblivious naps not deeper physic;
    dizzying in the dazzle

dragons glimpsed from subway cars
are on their way, while we clasp flagon's dearth
what was that greeny glitter
do you believe we bypass refuge doors
    or dragons can die
