Finally got around to reading Pater's πΌππππππππ¦ ππππ‘ππππ‘π , on my bookshelf since 2004, according to the pencil'd price inside. This one was printed in 1894, & dozens of the pages were still uncut. I keep a special knife for this purpose.
Negative review of Emily Dickinsonβs POEMS used by her publisher as a blurb for the second edition.
too jealously adjusting Β· the jolly top's spin
than carnal accord Β· where world welters
arrives at a wrench Β· ruing hour
but fared before Β· this way & lived
i learn so little Β· from length of traipsing
staid staying Β· studying tiles
but gather whispers Β· like dust whippets
& stars Β· strung in jagged strands
