Bifurcated hate flower
pyramid consecrated
and ev'ry week busted flat
in Baton Rouge
waiting for a train
halcyon morning
grass pale brown on the river bottomlands
it's a hell of a start
it could be
made into a monster
if we all pull together as a
senva dacti
slope where the kudzu grew
so many of the words changed
and there's no putting them back is there
